Tiny flat in posh London area listed for £390-a-month - with bed nearly touching sink

A flat in one of the country's most exclusive areas has gone on the market for £390 per month - and it is so small the bed is almost touching the kitchen sink.

The one-person bedsit boasts it is "fully furnished" with trendy "wooden floors".

It also brags how the Victorian pad is in a great location in West Kensington, west London.

But because it is so small, there isn't enough space for a bathroom and the shower and toiler are shared with other residents in the block.

The listing, marketed via Zoopla, shows the bed up against one wall while the kitchenette is just centimetres away.

A sink, microwave and camping-style cooking hob are all within touching distance in the skinny pad which has a limited amount of floor space.

Despite its tiny size, a wardrobe, chest of drawers, table and one chair are also chucked in for good measure.

Tenants have to stay for at least six months and the rent works out at just £90 per week.

Commenting on the listing, one person said: "Randomly browsing apartments on Zoopla for no reason and I came across this. London housing is such a joke."

Another person said: "You'd barely be able to walk in there."

The Space Let listing reads: "A single bedsit situated within a large Victorian house in-between West Kensington and Baron's Court stations with lots of amenities in the area.

"Fully furnished, wooden floors fitted throughout, own kitchen.

"Compact studio room furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, small table and chairs.

"Own kitchen with a counter-top cooker and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, fitted stainless steel sink unit and a range of wall and base units.

"Shared bathroom with a shower, WC and wash-hand basin."
