Coronavirus cases in the UK are continuing to soar and a number of areas in Yorkshire have been impacted.
Using the government’s interactive map, we found the Covid blackspots using data from the seven days up to December 26.
Wigginton, in North Yorkshire, is one of the worst affected areas with cases spiralling out of control.

The village in York has a rolling rate of 1,966 per 100,000 people which is above the UK’s average of 1,253.8.
