COVID-19 Update

The walk-in hours at our Water Conservation Help Desk at Waller Creek Center are currently suspended, including the pick-up of free water conservation tools. These measures are put in place in order to observe social distancing guidelines. Please allow for additional processing time for all rebate programs as application processing may be delayed.

Customers of Austin Water or a qualifying water provider can receive rebates and incentives by taking steps to conserve water.

  • Commercial Kitchen - from $40 to $5,000 per item for water-efficient kitchen equipment
  • Irrigation System Improvement - to increase irrigation efficiency
  • Rainwater Harvesting - up to $5,000 for equipment to capture rainwater
  • Water Efficiency Audit - up to $5,000 for an audit to identify potential water savings
  • Cartridge Pool Filter (Multi-family / HOA only) - up to $250 to replace sand or DE pool filter with cartridge pool filter
  • Pressure Regulating Valve (Multi-family only) - up to $750 for pressure regulating valve
  • WaterWise Landscape (Multi-family HOA only) - up to $5,000 to convert turf grass to native plants
  • WaterWise Rainscape (Schools only) - up to $500 for landscape features to retain rainwater
