A Bunnings Warehouse employee has revealed the little-known item that shoppers can’t return if they change their minds - and it just may surprise you.
The retail giant’s returns policy is widely regarded as one of the most flexible in the country, offering your money back when items are returned with original packaging and a receipt.
However there is one unlikely item that customers cannot take back if they change their minds - toilet seats.

Sharing on Reddit, the Bunnings worker said: “The only thing I remember declining to refund are toilet seats out of the packaging. If you’re buying a toilet seat, make sure you measure first!”
The bathroom accessory is among four items listed on Bunnings’ Returns Policy.
But while the other three products are all custom and made-to-measure or order, toilet seats is the only off-the-shelf buy Bunnings will not accept back due to health reasons.

Bunnings’ website states that the store cannot offer a change of mind refund or exchange on the following items:
“These products can still be returned if they are faulty, not fit for purpose or do not match the sample or description,” the website added.
