What/Where: Studio with “sleeping alcove” on the Upper West Side

How much for a bright alcove studio on the Upper West Side?

Square Footage: Under 400

Maintenance/Common Charges: $1,146

This is not a huge apartment, but it does have the benefit of a great location: It’s on the Upper West Side, within walking distance of several trains and close to both Riverside and Central Parks (though its location puts it closer to the former). For another hint as to where it’s situated, the neighborhood could also be called Lincoln Square.

The apartment itself is billed as an alcove studio, and the floorplan shows a small sleeping area (with a Murphy bed) just off the living room. (On the downside, the bathroom is only accessible through that alcove.) There’s a separate kitchen that’s in need of some updates, and a decent amount of closet space.

Knowing all that, how much do you think this apartment is asking? Put your best guesses in the comments.
